When you find yourself in a situation where you are completely bogged down with work, school, life..it is crucial that you take an hour off for yourself to get some exercise.
I recently had a session with one of my clients who informed me that due to a co-worker's mistake, she basically wound up working around the clock to fix this mistake and make a deadline. At Charged!, we have heard this before. What typically follows that statement, however, is "so, I will not be making my training session".
I was so proud of my client for coming in for her session. In almost all cases of "work overload", one hour away will not cause you to fall short of your responsibility. What it does do, however, is rejuvenate, reenergize, and allow you to refocus on the tasks at hand. Taking the time to exercise circulates more oxygen throughout your body..including your brain.
We all can get bogged down by responsibilities and deadlines. It is important to remember, however, that no matter how hectic things seem, if you step away for a little while, rejuvenate your body with some exercise, you will actually be more productive and healthier b/c of it.
