The Fad Diet
This is just a quick note to remind our readers that fad diets are just that, a fad. Most of these diets will work for one reason only, they are restricting your calorie intake. If you are consuming less than 1500 calories a day, it really doesn't matter what you are eating-you will most likely loose wait.
I could start a Fruity Pebbles diet..... Eat one bowl for breakfast, one for lunch, and a salad for dinner. I bet you would loose wait. But, the question is, is this healthy? Absolutely not. And neither are the majority of fad diets. If you have the ability & will power to restrict your intake to follow any one of these diets, than for Pete's sake, you should have the ability to simply eat whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins!
Hey, if you have an event that you need to get in a dress for, than I get it..go on that diet to loose a quick five pounds. But, in order to achieve the healthy body(which should be everyone's goal), you need to achieve the balance of good nutrition and exercise. It won't involve a diet-rather a lifestyle change.
I promise once you bring healthy foods into your life, the results are incredible. Healthy eating and exercise is, and has always been the answer to a healthy and happy body. Please give this a shot rather than the latest fad diet you learned about on TV. It will be well worth it!
